PRESIDENT

Crystal Menzie Olson

Born and raised in the sunny state of Florida, Crystal attended the University of South Florida majoring in General Business. She is currently Vice President  & Branch Manager of Cadence Bank in New Port Richey and has been in banking for over 12 years. Crystal is Chair for the Alberta’s Fashion Show, ambassador for the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce, affiliate for the West Pasco Board of Realtors, on the Leadership Committee for Gulfside Regional Hospice-Hike for Hospice and a member of the Business Development Council. When not working, Crystal enjoys spending time with her husband and her son.

 



VICE PRESIDENT

Paula is Chairperson of the Media Committee and Editor of the Companion newsletter. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of Tampa Bay DBT Counselors. Paula also currently works as a Wellness Coach for Health Integrated in Tampa. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Gerontology from University of South Florida.

Beth is a native of Tampa and was raised in Atlanta. After 15 years in marketing, she moved back to Florida to pursue a career in mental health counseling. She joined the AFO board to help families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementia. Beth and her husband Bob are the proud parents of five cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon.

 







TREASURER

A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, Homer is a graduate of Boston University and a Navy veteran. Married to Dolina for over 40 years, they have two children and four grandchildren. Homer held a variety of financial management positions at Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey before early retirement and moving to Florida. In addition to serving as volunteer treasurer at AFO, he is Past President Emeritus of the J&J Florida Retiree Club, is an avid reader and enjoys crossword puzzles.

Ron’s extensive multi-specialty medical background includes acute hospital/ambulatory care facility management & operations; physician practice management; senior/ assisted living & memory care; emergency medical services; medical /community education; public/media relations; human resources; marketing/advertising & healthcare strategic planning/development. Originally from Buffalo New York, Ron has spent the past 17 years improving the healthcare delivery systems throughout Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, & Hillsborough Counties.

Dolina, a native of Scotland, grew up in New Jersey and is a graduate of New York University and University of South Florida. Married to Homer for over 40 years, they have two children and four grandchildren. Dolina first got involved with AFO as part of her USF studies. Upon graduating with an M.A. in Gerontology, she worked part-time at USF Suncoast Gerontology, now part of The Byrd Institute. She volunteered at AFO as a trainer, educator and editor of the newsletter and is happy to continue to contribute as a member of the board.

Traci is a certified public accountant and a partner with Jones & Company, CPAs, PA in Trinity. She graduated from University of South Florida with a Masters degree in Accountancy. Her husband's grandmother suffered from dementia so Traci joined the Alzheimer's Family board in 2010. She currently is the Finance Chairperson for AFO.

Jenny is a general civil law attorney in New Port Richey that specializes in the areas of estate planning and probate administration.  She is a graduate of the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law. She also practices in the area of wills, trusts and advanced care directives.

Born in New York and raised in Florida, Tracey has lived in Hernando County most of her life. She received her education at Pasco-Hernando Community College and St.Leo University in Social Work. She is currently the Director of Social Services at Heartland of Brooksville. Tracey serves as the Education Chair for AFO and is a Level I and II Dementia Trainer. She has worked in the social work field for over 25 years and also spends her time educating others in Autism Awareness.



Cheryl Courtwright

Cheryl attended Ray Vogue School of Design in Chicago, Il. After graduating she joined Ethan Allen Furniture as an Interior Designer. She then became a National Trainer for Ethan Allen and spent several years traveling and training the Retail Store Network. Cheryl later joined Bassett Furniture as their Director of Training. After her Husband retired she found herself in the Villages, FL. She currently serves as the Community Relations Manager for Comfort Keepers. She has one Son who is a firefighter/EMT in Orange County. She enjoys biking, golf and boating.
